The Democratic National Convention is from Sunday, August 19 to Thursday, August 22 in Chicago. Vice President Kamala Harris will accept the party’s nomination. She chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. Several top party leaders are confirmed to speak at the convention, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Harris will officially accept the party’s nomination, less than three months from the U.S. presidential election.
